Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Briers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Briers has chosen Powerman 5000 - Super Villain as his entrance music. Greg Briers will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Wilcox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Briers! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Briers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Briers throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Briers misses with a body shot.
Briers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Briers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Briers lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Wilcox uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Briers. Wilcox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wilcox just misses with a punch to the body.
Wilcox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Wilcox decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wilcox takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Briers avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wilcox. Wilcox missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Briers pushes Wilcox off looking to stand but Wilcox dives back in and keeps control.
Wilcox is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Briers is squirming around, avoiding Wilcox's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Briers is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Briers is bucking up trying to escape but Wilcox cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
It looks like Greg Briers has been cut. Briers is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Briers is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Briers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilcox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wilcox punishing his opponent with strikes.
That has opened up Greg Briers's cut even more. Wilcox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Briers looks gassed! BOOM! Wilcox connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Greg Briers's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Greg Briers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mark Wilcox!
