The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botanovic lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

McGavin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Botanovic uses his free foot to push down on McGavin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McGavin.
Botanovic wants to take McGavin's back here but McGavin is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Botanovic throws a front kick aimed at McGavin's knee but McGavin avoids it well.
McGavin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
McGavin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Botanovic is fending him off so far but McGavin persists. Nope, Botanovic circles away and we're back to standing.

Bot Botanovic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McGavin wants to clinch but Botanovic slips to the side
and Botanovic counters with a nice body kick.
Botanovic drives through and clinches with McGavin against the cage.
Botanovic has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McGavin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Botanovic is working for a rear naked choke. McGavin is not defending it well and Botanovic has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! McGavin refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of McGavin's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
