Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for masher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
masher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Johnson shoots in for a double leg but masher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
masher forces Johnson back against the cage and clinches.

masher drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
masher goes for a takedown in the clinch but Johnson prevents it.
Johnson scores a nice knee to the body.
masher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. masher avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
masher decides to pull guard.
Johnson wants to pass the guard but masher is keeping the position.

Johnson wants to stand but masher has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
masher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
masher manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

masher cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
masher scoring with strikes but Johnson is staying in there.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with masher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
masher looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Johnson can't escape the position.

Johnson has given up his back here.
masher has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Johnson is in real trouble here. masher gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Johnson is tapping out! masher wins by rear naked choke!
