Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, homer simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Storm!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but simpson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
simpson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Storm defends it easily.
simpson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Storm works a leg free and moves into half guard.
simpson trying to control but Storm postures up.
simpson is pressing down on Storm's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Storm trying to stand up but can't free himself from simpson's guard.
simpson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Storm controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Storm looking to pass the guard.

simpson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Storm defends well.
Storm advances position into side control!
Storm wants to control but simpson is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
simpson is trying to control Storm's posture but Storm avoids it.
Storm is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt simpson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Storm wants to lay and pray for a moment but simpson keeps working.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Storm works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
simpson tries to buck Storm off but Storm is having none of it.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Storm working away.
Storm wants to lay and pray for a moment but simpson keeps working.
simpson can't do much from the bottom here.
simpson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Storm shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
simpson with a jab.
simpson scores with a hook to the body. Storm takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
simpson tries to clinch but Storm is having none of it.

simpson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
simpson lands a jab.
simpson misses with a hook. Storm ducked under it nicely.
simpson is breathing heavily.
simpson moves in looking to clinch but Storm pushes him off.
Storm throws a head kick but simpson moves out of range.
Storm tries to score a power double leg takedown but simpson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Storm somewhat.
Storm avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
simpson tries to clinch up.
simpson forces Storm back against the cage and clinches.
simpson lands a hook to the side of the head.
simpson breaks from the clinch.
Storm takes a shot right to the bread basket.
simpson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

simpson tries to bum rush Storm with a series of wild strikes but Storm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
homer simpson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
simpson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
simpson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Storm counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in simpson's guard now.
Storm slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Storm stands up from guard. Let's bang!

simpson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Storm.
Storm closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Storm lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Storm swings for the body but simpson moves out of range.
homer simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Storm looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Storm controlling the action here.
simpson is staying active underneath Storm, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Storm seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. simpson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
