And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callahan misses with a two punch combination.
sly looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Callahan is fending him off so far but sly persists. Nope, Callahan circles away and we're back to standing.
sly throws and low kick but Callahan moves out of range easily.
Callahan swats away the attempt to clinch by sly.
sly slips a jab and a cross from Callahan.

sly moves into the clinch.
sly is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Callahan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
sly drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Callahan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Thomas Callahan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of christian sly.
sly tries for a takedown. No joy.

sly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
sly fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Callahan lands a left and a right that send sly crashing to the mat, dazed. Callahan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

sly looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Callahan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! sly takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Callahan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
