Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clay Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alan Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Faber sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Faber wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Faber keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Faber manages to get to full guard.
Faber lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!
Jones in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Jones can't escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Faber landing strikes, looking to finish!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Faber! Jones is hurt baaadly! Faber is firing away with more strikes - Jones is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
