The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chupapinga misses with a takedown attempt - Cordoba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cordoba misses with a body kick.
No luck for Chupapinga with that takedown attempt.
Chupapinga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cordoba but Cordoba pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jodeate Chupapinga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cordoba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chupapinga.
Chupapinga closes the distance and clinches up with Cordoba, looking for a takedown. Chupapinga pushes Cordoba against the cage but Cordoba circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cordoba bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chupapinga's head.

Cordoba is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chupapinga can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Cordoba is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Chupapinga is surviving well by controlling Cordoba's body position as best he can.

Cordoba looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
