And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake swinging wildly here.
Thorn scores with a sloppy right hand. Blake should have avoided that one.
Blake misses with a wild combination.
Blake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thorn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blake.
Blake tries to clinch up.
Thorn uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Blake has time to react.
Blake moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Blake throws a right hand that Thorn ducks under and follows up with a left that Thorn also avoids with ease.
Blake throws a series of punches but Thorn avoids them all with ease.
Blake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thorn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thorn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blake.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Thorn counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bernard Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nice combo by Thorn! Oh, that's hurt him - Blake falls to the canvas and Thorn follows him into side control.

Thorn stands up and beckons Blake to his feet.
Thorn lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Blake is looking to close the distance but Thorn sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Blake crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Blake is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
