Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sumopainija Hokanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Nunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michael Nunn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sumopainija Hokanen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Nunn! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hokanen getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Nunn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Michael Nunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hokanen looks to land a right hand but Nunn moved out of range. Nunn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hokanen manages to avoid it. Hokanen lands a nice looking body shot.
Nunn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nunn wants it to stay on the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hokanen. Nunn parries the strikes from Hokanen easily there. Hokanen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nunn to escape.
Nunn is trying to improve his position. Hokanen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Hokanen throwing strikes but Nunn manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Hokanen is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hokanen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Nunn is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Hokanen working to try and regain half guard.
Nunn is standing up, even though he is in mount. Hokanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nunn moves away. Hokanen on the wrong end of a nice jab. Nunn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hokanen circles away quickly and effectively. Hokanen throws out a loose jab but Nunn uses good head movement to avoid it. Hokanen drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hokanen shoots in for a double leg but Nunn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nunn slips under a jab from Hokanen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nunn lands a jab to Hokanen's midsection. Hokanen is breathing heavily. Nunn stuns Hokanen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nunn lands an overhand right.
It looks like Sumopainija Hokanen has been cut. Nunn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hokanen sprawling to the canvas! Hokanen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nunn finish him?!
Nunn misses with a straight left. Hokanen blocks a jab. Nunn throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hokanen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nunn jabbing away but nothing is landing. A punch combination from Nunn misses. Hokanen dodges the punch combination from Nunn.
Nunn is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. No luck for Hokanen with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sumopainija Hokanen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nunn lands a left and a right that send Hokanen crashing to the mat, dazed. Nunn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hokanen is rocked! Hokanen drops his hands momentarily. Nunn doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hokanen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hokanen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Nunn!
