The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elric looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Elric wants to control but Antietam is keeping him busy.

Elric working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Elric tries to pass the half guard into mount. Antietam knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Elric thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Antietam's head.

Elric slips a nice elbow through Antietam's hands, connecting with Antietam's forehead.

Elric not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Elric is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Elric connects with a nice short shot to Antietam's temple.
Antietam has hold of Elric's hands but Elric slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Elric moves into full mount! Antietam won't be happy about that!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Elric quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Elric but it's paid off an Antietam is forced to tap! Nice work by Elric.
