Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Bantum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lite kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lights out. Mark Lite looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Lite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bull Bantum!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lite misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bantum scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bantum cracks Lite with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Lite takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bantum is looking to take a break and control but Lite is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lite tries to improve position but can't.
Lite regains half guard, as Bantum was trying to land strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bantum tries to stand and escape but Lite is controlling the position.
Bantum wants to take a breather but Lite is having none of it.

Bantum tries to stand but can't do so whilst Lite controls his leg.
Lite avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bantum.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bantum tries to clinch but Lite moves out of range.
Bantum blocks a head kick by Lite.
Lite doesn't manage to clinch there - Bantum circles away.
Bantum feints and as Lite raises his hands in defense, Bantum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lite is breathing heavily.
Bantum trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lite's guard.
Bantum working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lite is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bantum is looking to work some ground and pound but Lite has wrist control.

Bantum wants to get up but he can't break Lite's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lite manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bantum manages to get himself to full guard.

Lite throwing strikes from guard but Bantum blocks nicely.

Lite drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bantum manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lite has Bantum in his guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lite trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Bantum is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bantum looking to sit in guard and control but Lite gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Bantum dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fighters circling - Bantum throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bantum tries to land a front kick but Lite steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bantum swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lite counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lite tries to clinch up.
Bantum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lite.
Bantum moves away from the strike by Lite.
Lite tries a low kick but Bantum avoids it.
Bantum with a poor takedown
and Lite counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bantum!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lite unloads with some shots from mount but Bantum bucks and avoids them well.
Lite landing strikes from the mount and Bantum is in trouble!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lite thowing shots but they're missing.
Lite looking to ground and pound but Bantum is blocking nicely.
Lite moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bantum has worked his arm free - good work by Bantum!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bantum wants to control but Lite postures up.
The strikes coming from Lite are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Lite in the domination position with Bantum hanging on.
Lite misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bantum tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lite wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lite grinds an elbow into Bantum's temple.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sloppy strikes there by Lite.
Bantum is looking to reverse the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bantum blocks a leg kick.
Lite takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bantum lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lite tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bull Bantum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lite avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lite throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Lite dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Bantum shoots in looking for a takedown. Lite tries to sprawl out of it but Bantum keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lite manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lite throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bantum throws a lazy right hand but Lite sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bantum, right into the meat.
Lite leaves Bantum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bantum lands a jab to the nose.
Bantum fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lite.
Bantum throws a series of punches but Lite moves out of range.
Lite throws a sloppy head kick and Bantum moves out of range easily.
Bantum closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lite to the mat! Lite manages to get full guard.
Bantum stands and steps away. Lite gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bantum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bantum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lite.
Bantum works over Lite's head and body with a nice combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lite!
Bantum shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lite counters with a straight right hand.
Mark Lite has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bull Bantum.
Bantum's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bantum duly obliges.
Lite checks a low kick from Bantum.
Bantum looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bantum scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bantum shoots in for a double leg but Lite sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lite misses with a combination
and Bantum counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Lite takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lite tries to clinch there but Bantum circles away.
Bantum lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lite backs up against the cage.
Lite with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bantum to score with a decent uppercut.
Bantum tried to score with a low kick but Lite checks it.
Lite throws a lazy right hand but Bantum sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lite misses with a hook.

Lite throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mark Lite is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bantum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lite's guard.
Bantum wanted to stand there but Lite had control of the position.
Lite not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bantum works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lite is trying to control but can't.

Bantum looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Lite is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lite works his way to full guard. Good work.
Lite escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bantum gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lite throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Bull Bantum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bantum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
