The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ligachev fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fernandes looks to land a combination but Ligachev avoids it well.
Fernandes throws a right and a left that Ligachev avoids nicely.
Ligachev slips a jab from Fernandes.
Ligachev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fernandes fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut lands for Fernandes. That snapped Ligachev's head back.

It looks like Mikhail Ligachev has been cut.
Ligachev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fernandes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
