Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daquan Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Liber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liber has chosen Metallica- Whiskey in the jar as his entrance music. Daquan Battle has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daquan Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Liber! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Battle shoots in and drives through. Liber sprawls well. No luck for Liber with that takedown attempt. The fighters circling - Battle throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Battle pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Battle misses with a looping right. Liber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Battle's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Liber passes Battle's left leg - he's now in half guard. Liber is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Liber is tying to control. Battle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Battle is looking for a sweep. Liber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Battle wants to get back to his feet. Liber is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Battle swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Liber has control of Battle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Battle regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Battle wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Liber.
Liber is working for a guillotine from mount but Battle frees his head quite easily.
Liber looks gassed! Battle throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Battle throwing hammer fists to the chest of Liber. What's that going to do exactly? Battle is squirming around, avoiding Liber's attempts to control the action. Battle defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Liber. Liber looking to secure an arm triangle but Battle defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Battle's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Battle has left one of his arms exposed and Liber doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Battle screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
