Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gwyn Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gwyn Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hook but Marsh avoids it easily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jones.
Jones fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Marsh is out of range.
Jones tries to land a front kick but Marsh steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Marsh takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Marsh slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

so Marsh counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
