Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanchanok Prasoetram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dent comes to the cage accompanied by Samuel Peter - WHO NECKS?!. Prasoetram has chosen The Way I Feel as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Dent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tanchanok Prasoetram! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prasoetram tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dent swats him away and circles back towards the center. A big left from Dent misses. Dent leaves Prasoetram with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dent moves into the clinch. Dent is trying to break the clinch but Prasoetram is controlling him. Prasoetram trying to land knees to the body.
Dent breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Prasoetram showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dent.
Prasoetram avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Prasoetram escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Prasoetram looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dent! Dent wants to hold on but Prasoetram pushes him away. Dent reaches up and holds on to Prasoetram to control the position. Prasoetram wants to take his opponent's back but Dent doesn't allow it. Prasoetram is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prasoetram unloads with some shots from mount but Dent bucks and avoids them well.
Prasoetram is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dent can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Prasoetram looking to control but Dent is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dent is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dent regains half guard. Dent makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dent. Prasoetram looking to pass the guard. Dent pulls Prasoetram in to control the position. Prasoetram wants to control from the top but Dent keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Prasoetram wants to get up but he can't break Dent's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dent looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Prasoetram passes Dent's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Prasoetram tries to stand and escape but Dent is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dent is trying to maintain the position but Prasoetram is very close to passing his half guard. Prasoetram is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dent moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Dent looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Prasoetram passes into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dent is controlling Prasoetram's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dent is looking to improve his position.
Prasoetram is pressing down on Dent's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dent is holding on for now. Prasoetram looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dent gets full guard. Dent controls Prasoetram momentarily but Prasoetram frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dent lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Prasoetram! Dent has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Prasoetram's face.
Dent is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Prasoetram has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dent blocks Prasoetram's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Prasoetram is in all sorts of trouble here.
Dent fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dent lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Prasoetram can't escape the position.
The referee warns Prasoetram that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dent putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Prasoetram taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arthur Dent dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Prasoetram tries to clinch and Dent counters with a stiff right hand. Dent looks to land a left hand but Prasoetram moved out of range nicely. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dent misses with the combination.
Dent scores with a hook. Prasoetram tries to clinch and Dent counters with a nice body shot. Prasoetram wants to clinch and Dent makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Prasoetram really felt that one! Dent throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Tanchanok Prasoetram has been cut. Dent throws a right and a left that both miss. Tanchanok Prasoetram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dent misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Prasoetram shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dent throws a series of punches but Prasoetram avoids them all with ease. Dent clinches up against the cage. Prasoetram manages to break the clinch.
Prasoetram wants to clinch. Dent throws a right and a left that both miss. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dent has managed to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dent manages to break the clinch.
Prasoetram tries to clinch and Dent counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Prasoetram keeping moving, preventing Dent from controlling successfully. Dent pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Prasoetram is keeping the position for now. Prasoetram is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dent defends well. Prasoetram has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dent doesn't defend quickly enough and Prasoetram has managed to lock this one up! Can Dent escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Prasoetram on a fantastic submission victory.
