Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Krieger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krieger has chosen Ramstein - Feuer Frei as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rickson Machado! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stefan Krieger! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machado drives through with a takedown into guard. Krieger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machado wants to control from the top but Krieger keeps moving. Krieger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Machado is controlling him. Machado tries to free his leg and advance position but Krieger is retaining full guard. Krieger kicks Machado off and gets to his feet. Machado misses with a low kick as Krieger jumps back. Krieger doesn't succeed with the takedown and Machado counters with a low kick, right behind Krieger 's knee. Machado closes the distance and clinches. Machado misses with a knee strike.

A right hook to the body lands for Machado.
Krieger looks gassed! Machado gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Machado throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kriegers head. Machado misses with a knee strike.
Machado gets underhooks to prevent Krieger's takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Machado. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Machado. Machado lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Machado. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Machado for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Machado pushes off an throws an elbow but Krieger leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Krieger works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Machado lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Krieger! Machado controlling his opponent. Krieger is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Machado is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Machado extends the arm and Krieger is forced to tap!
