Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Hug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Lase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hug comes to the cage accompanied by RIP Andy Hug. Tony Lase will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Hug!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Lase!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lase is looking to slow Hug down with leg kicks.
Hug showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lase.
Hug ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lase moves away.
Lase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A punch combination from Lase misses.
Hug looks to land a left hand but Lase moved out of range nicely.
Lase fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lase throws a head kick that Hug semi-blocks.
Hug throws a hook to the side of Lase's head but Lase sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hug misses with a hook.
Lase lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lase goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hug checks a leg kick.
Lase buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hug tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lase swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lase thuds his shin into the meat of Hug's side.

Hug cracks Lase with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hug fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lase displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hug throws out the jab.
Lase throws a head kick that misses.
Hug wants to clinch.
Lase catches Hug with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lase sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Hug to the ground! Lase dives into full mount looking to finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hug avoids a series of strikes thrown by Lase.
Hug is wriggling around trying to escape.

Hug sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Hug makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hug.
Hug might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lase stands up over Hug, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hug preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hug fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lase on the side of the head.
Lase throws a low kick, looking for Hug's leg but Hug calmly moves out of range.

Hug closes the distance and pushes Lase back into the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hug.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hug on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hug with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Tony Lase has been cut.
Hug throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lase blocks it with crossed arms.
Lase pushes off an throws an elbow but Hug leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Hug tries to land knees in the clinch but Lase avoids the damage to the body.
Hug lands a good knee to the midsection. Lase won't want to take too many of those.
Lase looks gassed!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hug tries to land a knee to the head but Lase blocks with his arms.

Still in the clinch, Hug scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hug lands a nice knee to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hug putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Lase in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hug for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Hug tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lase was well out of range. Poor timing from Hug.
Andy Hug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hug throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hug avoids the head kick by Lase.
Lase thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hug if he has to take too many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lase pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hug throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lase counters with a series of strikes. Hug will be more careful next time no doubt.

Hug scores with a hook to the body. Lase takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Lase counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Hug scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Hug cracks Lase on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lase falls backwards against the cage. Hug follows up with more strikes that drop Lase to his knees. Hug keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lase! This one is all over!
