Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Simmons coming out on top.
Simmons shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Gracie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gracie tries to hold on but Simmons postures up.

That was a close round but I would say that Shutterfly Simmons will probably get the nod.

Simmons thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Simmons manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Simmons in his guard.
Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Simmons!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gracie swings around for an armbar but Simmons sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Simmons's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Well Simmons has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
