The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Townsend throws a series of strikes that have Dada backpedaling.

Dada shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Dada is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Townsend is working to get back to half guard.
Dada throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Dada will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Townsend is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Townsend really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dada is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Townsend is surviving well by controlling Dada's body position as best he can.

Townsend wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Dada.

Dada looking to control but Townsend is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Dada wants to finish this one by submission but Townsend is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dada.
Dada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
