Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micle Greyci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfons Oberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Micle Greyci! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alfons Oberg! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Greyci tries to clinch up but Oberg circles away and keeps his distance. Greyci tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oberg swats him away and circles back towards the center. Greyci stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greyci wants it to stay on the feet. Greyci tries to clinch but Oberg moves out of range. Greyci tries to clinch up. Greyci wants to clinch. Greyci shoots in for a double leg but Oberg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greyci misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Oberg scores a takedown into full mount! Oberg lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greyci. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greyci wants to hold on but Oberg pushes him away. Oberg can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Greyci is looking to escape. Oberg looking to control and managing it successfully. Let's hope that Oberg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Greyci is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oberg with the ground and pound from mount. Greyci tries to hold on but Oberg pushes him away. Oberg content just to control the position here. Greyci really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Greyci working to try and regain half guard.
Oberg throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Greyci because Oberg loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oberg looking to ground and pound but Greyci is blocking nicely. Oberg takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Greyci wants to control but Oberg is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Oberg landing strikes from the mount. Greyci in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Greyci is breathing heavily. Oberg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Oberg is landing with some decent strikes but Greyci is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Oberg sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Greyci wants to control but Oberg is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfons Oberg dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Oberg rushes Greyci and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Greyci is working for takedown but Oberg is calmly controlling the position for now. Oberg tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Oberg lands a body punch in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greyci fails to pull guard.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micle Greyci. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Greyci trying to land knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oberg tries to break the clinch but Greyci is controlling the position. Greyci unloads a knee to the mid-section. Greyci pulls guard. Oberg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Greyci working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Oberg. Greyci throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Oberg wants to control from the top but Greyci keeps moving. Oberg throwing strikes from guard but Greyci blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Oberg showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Oberg wanted to stand there but Greyci had control of the position. Greyci looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Oberg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Greyci was covering up waiting for the punch and Oberg finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oberg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Greyci tries to land a sweep but no joy. Greyci has his foot on Oberg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oberg works his way back into a safe position though. Oberg wants to pass the guard but Greyci is keeping the position. Greyci working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oberg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Oberg is stalling in the full guard. Greyci will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oberg working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Greyci's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alfons Oberg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Greyci stuffs the takedown. Oberg misses with a takedown and Greyci counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Greyci misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Oberg.
Greyci has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Oberg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Oberg has Greyci pressed against the cage.

Oberg postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Oberg tries to stand but Greyci is controlling from the bottom. Oberg slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Oberg wants to get up but he can't break Greyci's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Greyci looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Oberg misses with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oberg misses with a double jab
and Greyci counters with a single leg into guard. Oberg didn't expect that. Oberg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oberg is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Greyci is controlling him. Greyci stopping the sweep attempt from Oberg. Greyci throws a big right hand that misses. Alfons Oberg has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oberg is pulling down on Greyci's head to control his posture. Greyci throwing strikes but missing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Oberg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Greyci tries to clinch and Oberg counters by clinching up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Greyci trying to land knees to the body.
Micle Greyci has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alfons Oberg is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Oberg ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Oberg no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Micle Greyci showed his dominance in that final round. I think Oberg has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
