Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Jenkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Let's hope that Jenkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jenkins scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Da Silva doesn't seem bothered though.

Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Da Silva tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Da Silva to the ground. Da Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Jenkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
