Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Revan Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Revan Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Revan Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Benton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.
Benton misses with a two punch combination.
Benton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Benton.

Benton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gracie was covering up waiting for the punch and Benton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Benton advances to half guard.
Gracie wants to improve his position but Benton is controlling well.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Benton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Benton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Benton content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Gracie has locked up a guillotine! Gracie's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Benton is holding on here and Gracie must be using up a lot of energy. Benton has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Gracie gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
