The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roux takes a swing at Shaw's ribcage but misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A jab lands there for Shaw.
Roux shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shaw pinned against the cage. Shaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Roux is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Shaw to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Shaw shrugs it off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Shaw.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shaw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
