Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorian Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Another Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Twilight Of The Thunder God. Guy has chosen New york as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lorian Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Another Guy! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jones's half guard. Guy is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. Guy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily. Guy thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Guy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jones is not content to let Guy control the position. Guy is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jones reverses the position - he's now on top in Guy's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to stand but Guy is controlling from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Horrible takedown by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Guy shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well. Jones lands with an overhand left.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Lorian Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Another Guy. Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Guy on that attempt. Lorian Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Jones misses with a wild combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Guy fails to land the takedown. Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Guy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Guy has a takedown stuffed. Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Guy throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Guy fails with a takedown attempt. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guy moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lorian Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones looks to land a combination but Guy avoids it well. Guy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. No luck with that takedown attempt from Guy. Guy drives through with a takedown into guard. Guy wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones wants to stand up but Guy is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Guy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Guy won't allow Jones to get back to his feet. Guy postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Guy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Guy pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard. Guy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Still in half guard, Guy seems content to control. Guy prevents Jones from standing back up.
Guy is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guy to get the leverage. Guy trying to control from Jones's half guard. Jones has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Guy trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones keeping full guard, as Guy tries to pass. Guy prevents Jones from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guy working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Guy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Guy sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Guy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Guy pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard. Guy thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.

Another Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Guy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Guy fails with a takedown attempt. Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Guy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jones won't be happy with that. Guy content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Guy wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well. Guy taking a break here but Jones is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Guy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jones regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Guy. Jones keeping moving, preventing Guy from controlling successfully. Guy wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy lands a couple of elbows. Guy trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Guy sitting in guard, not really doing much. Guy trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

Well, if Guy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

No luck this time Guy. Guy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

It looks like Lorian Jones has been cut. Jones is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Guy throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jones because Guy loaded up on that one. Guy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape. Guy thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Another Guy dominated that fourth round. The cut man is working on Lorian Jones's cut. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jones keeps the fight on the outside. No joy there for Guy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Jones does no damage. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones throws a right and a left that Guy avoids nicely. Lorian Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Guy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jones did well to prevent Guy getting side control. Guy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jones is staying active underneath Guy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
