Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmy McMuffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timmy McMuffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Payne! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McMuffin takes a swing at Payne's ribcage but misses. McMuffin gets the takedown into side control. McMuffin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Payne, who protects the arm well. McMuffin trying to control the action but Payne is working from the bottom. Payne is trying to buck McMuffin off. McMuffin tries for a kimura but Payne is defending well. McMuffin prevents Payne from escaping the position. McMuffin looks up at the clock and then as Payne takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McMuffin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
McMuffin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Payne is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMuffin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Payne keeps working. Payne takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Payne wants to get back to his feet. McMuffin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Payne is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. McMuffin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Payne is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Payne is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McMuffin has just dragged him back down to the mat. McMuffin looks up at the clock and then as Payne takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McMuffin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Payne wants to get back to his feet but McMuffin drags him back down. McMuffin wants to control but Payne is keeping him busy. Payne takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
McMuffin is looking to take a break and control but Payne is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Payne takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

McMuffin shoots for a takedown but Payne saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McMuffin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Payne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Payne wants to stand up but McMuffin is controlling him. McMuffin pushes down on Payne's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Payne tries to kick McMuffin off but McMuffin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Payne is breathing heavily. McMuffin is trying to control. Payne wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. McMuffin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Payne! McMuffin has control of Payne's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Payne regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Payne is squirming around, avoiding McMuffin's attempts to control the action. McMuffin looking to finish Payne with some ground and pound. This is bad for Payne!
That's two minutes gone in the round. McMuffin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Payne to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Payne shrugs it off. Payne trying desperately to get to his feet.
McMuffin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Payne is surviving well by controlling McMuffin's body position as best he can. Payne trying desperately to get to his feet.

Max Payne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Payne throws a series of punches but McMuffin moves out of range. Payne throws a low kick but it's checked well by McMuffin. McMuffin has a takedown stuffed. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Payne looks for the body kick but McMuffin saw that one coming. Payne throws a shot from downtown. McMuffin moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMuffin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McMuffin trying to control the action but Payne is working from the bottom. Payne is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McMuffin has just dragged him back down to the mat. Payne being controlled for a moment. McMuffin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McMuffin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McMuffin prevents Payne from escaping the position. Max Payne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McMuffin scores with a jab to the head.
McMuffin misses with a takedown attempt - Payne sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McMuffin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timmy McMuffin. That's going to take a lot out of him. McMuffin dodges the punch combination from Payne.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Payne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McMuffin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Payne misses with a jab, cross combination.

Payne ducks right into an uppercut from McMuffin. Payne shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Payne slips a jab and a cross from McMuffin.
McMuffin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McMuffin lands a jab-cross combination. Payne throws a combination that misses and McMuffin counters with a one-two to the body. McMuffin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Payne has time to react. McMuffin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. McMuffin trying to control the position from guard on top but Payne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Timmy McMuffin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

McMuffin wants to control but Payne is keeping him busy. Payne wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Timmy McMuffin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McMuffin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Payne as he jumps to the side.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Payne comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McMuffin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
