Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between TunTon Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, TunTon Lim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Liddell! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Liddell shoots in but no luck this time. Lim misses with a body shot.
Lim digs a good hook to Liddell's body.
Lim looks to throw the jab but Liddell is out of range. Lim throws out a loose jab but Liddell uses good head movement to avoid it. Liddell ducks under a wild hook from Lim. Lim swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Lim is struggling to control the position. Liddell tries to pull guard but Lim won't allow it.
TunTon Lim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Liddell. Liddell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lim looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Lim has had enough of the clinch but Liddell keeps him there for the moment. Liddell tries to pull guard but Lim holds him up against the cage and eventually Liddell drops back down to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Come on Liddell - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Liddell can't break the clinch.
Liddell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A decent looking cross lands there for Lim. Lim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lim throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lim throws a big shot that misses. Lim misses with an uppercut. Liddell saw that one coming. Lim waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Liddell. Lim throws a jab when Liddell was well out of range. Liddell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Lim keeps the fight on the outside. Lim throws a jab when Liddell was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Liddell just leaning against Lim, taking a breather. Liddell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lim walks away with a smile on his face. Liddell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lim stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A big left from Lim misses. Lim is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Liddell shoots for a double leg takedown but Lim sprawls well. He's pushed Liddell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lim connects with a right hand. Liddell shakes it off. Horrible takedown by Liddell or perhaps it was just good defense by Lim which made him look bad. A swing and a miss from Lim. Liddell moves out of range as Lim strikes. A big left from Lim misses. Lim jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Liddell walks into a stiff left hand from Lim. Liddell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Liddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lim tries to avoid it but Liddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lim to the ground. Lim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Liddell shoots for a double leg takedown but Lim sprawls well. He's pushed Liddell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Liddell looks gassed! Lim looks to land a left hand but Liddell moved out of range nicely. Lim connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Liddell momentarily.
Lim throws a lazy right hand but Liddell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Liddell misses with a takedown attempt - Lim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Liddell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lim. Lim throws a hook to the side of Liddell's head but Liddell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lim cracks Liddell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Liddell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lim finish him?
Liddell is rocked! Lim finds Liddell's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Liddell flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Lim lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Liddell will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). TunTon Lim!
