Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Miecha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubao Valadares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kilo Miecha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rubao Valadares! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miecha shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Miecha could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Miecha content to control rather than advance. Valadares wants to stand back up but Miecha manages to pass into side control.
Valadares stops Miecha from passing to mount. Miecha has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Valadares! Valadares is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round. Miecha controlling his opponent. Miecha trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Miecha. Miecha takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Miecha with shots to the head and body - Valadares looks very uncomfortable down there. Valadares in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Miecha with the ground and pound from mount. Miecha sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Miecha seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Valadares for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valadares has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Miecha lands a shot to the head. Valadares is trying to get back to his feet but Miecha has full control of the position and if anything, Valadares has just worked his way into a worse spot. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miecha is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Miecha cracks Valadares with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Valadares from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Miecha has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Valadares wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. What can Valadares do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Miecha is not going to allow Valadares to sit and survive in this position. Miecha is breathing heavily. Valadares staying busy and making it hard for Miecha to control. Miecha lands a shot to the head. Valadares is trapped and Miecha is scoring with shots to the head and body. Valadares looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Miecha lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. A bit of a pause in the action here. Miecha controlling the positon. Valadares breaks Miecha's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miecha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Valadares postures up in Miecha's guard and throws a big left but Miecha blocks it. Miecha is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Miecha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Valadares must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No joy there for Valadares, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Miecha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Valadares wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kilo Miecha dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Miecha takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Valadares fails in his attempt to clinch. Miecha has closed the distance and engaged Valadares in a clinch.
Valadares has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Miecha works on Valadares's body with a couple of short punches. Miecha's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Valadares tries to clinch but fails miserably and Miecha decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Valadares's guard. Valadares looking for a triangle here. Miecha is fighting it but it looks tight! Valadares pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Miecha is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Rubao Valadares!
