Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicles Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jens Pulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicles Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jens Pulver!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulver misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pulver is keeping the position for now.
Pulver wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.
Jones trying to control but Pulver is working from the bottom.
Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Pulver.
Jones working some strikes from top position.
Pulver throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pulver wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pulver swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones advances position into side control!
Jones is chipping away with strikes.
Jones goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Pulver rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jones's guard! Nice work there by Pulver!
Pulver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pulver has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Jones looking to control.
Pulver loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pulver postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jones is trying to keep Pulver in close.
Pulver throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Pulver looks gassed!
Jones controlling his opponent.
Pulver has left one of his arms exposed and Jones doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pulver screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nicles Jones!
