The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as McBrdie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Grey doesn't seem phased though.
Grey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McBrdie throws an overhand right that lands on Grey's shoulder, as Grey tries to avoid the shot.
McBrdie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grey was well out of range. Poor timing from McBrdie.
McBrdie stuffs the takedown attempt from Grey. Grey gets slowly back to his feet.
McBrdie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Grey at a distance.
Grey looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grey drops his hands momentarily. McBrdie doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Grey staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Grey doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Boris McBrdie!
