The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hilavitku closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hilavitku is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Supermies defends it well.

Hilavitku is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Supermies is just riding it out for now. Hilavitku eventually gives up the hold.
Hilavitku wants to free his trapped foot but Supermies is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hilavitku is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Supermies reverses the position - he's now on top in Hilavitku's guard.

Hilavitku has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Supermies is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hilavitku.

Hilavitku looks to move to half guard but instead Supermies has passed into mount! Damn!

Supermies gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Hilavitku dives in and grabs Supermies's left leg, looking for a takedown. Supermies pushes down on Hilavitku's head and hops out.
Hilavitku takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Supermies!
Hilavitku has a takedown stuffed.
Supermies keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Niko Hilavitku. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hilavitku is breathing heavily.

Supermies cracks Hilavitku with an open hand slap.

Supermies flashes Hilavitku a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Hilavitku's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Hilavitku crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Supermies punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
