1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Barden! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camel misses with the combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Camel thows a left - swing and a miss! Barden shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Barden showed some decent athleticism there. Camel regains full guard. Nicely done. Camel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barden gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Camel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Barden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Barden avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Camel cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Barden lands with a good body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Barden gets a takedown into half guard. Barden takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Barden not landing any meaningful shots this time. Barden looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Camel is refusing to be controlled, as Barden sits in half guard. Camel is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Barden decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Camel connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Camel takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Barden. Camel manages to get back to half guard. Barden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Camel keeps working. Camel is pressing down on Barden's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Camel throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Eli Barden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Camel lands some strikes from the bottom. Barden throwing strikes but missing. Camel has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Barden has passed into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Camel is trying to control Barden's posture but Barden avoids it. Barden is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Camel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Camel is looking to regain half guard here but Barden keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barden trying to control the position but Camel is working away. Camel sneaks back into half guard. Nice strikes from Barden there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Camel is looking to improve his position.

Camel with a flurry of punches that miss. Camel is looking to work some ground and pound but Barden has wrist control. Camel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barden!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Camel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Camel manages to work his way to half guard, despite Barden's best efforts. Camel missing with punches from the bottom.
Camel is trying to maintain the position but Barden is very close to passing his half guard. Camel wants to improve his position but Barden is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Barden is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Camel ! Barden thowing shots but they're missing. Barden is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Camel is surviving well by controlling Barden's body position as best he can. Camel can't escape the position.
Camel sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Camel moves into full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Eli Barden. Well Barden has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
