Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mamoru Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lars Lestaatius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takamura comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lestaatius as he avoids it easily.

Lestaatius bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Takamura's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lestaatius lands a decent elbow from side control.
Lestaatius scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Takamura to see if he's OK.
Takamura wants to control but Lestaatius postures up.

Takamura is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lestaatius connects with a decent elbow.

Let's hope that Lestaatius has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
