Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between serenity ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sponge Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, serenity ahr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sponge Bob!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr blocks a head kick by Bob.
ahr looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
ahr throws a wild body kick that Bob sees coming a mile off.
A head kick misses from ahr.

Bob gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows ahr to score an easy takedown into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bob is on top in guard.
ahr keeping moving, preventing Bob from controlling successfully.
Bob lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob slips nicely into half guard.
Bob works his foot free and advances to mount.
Bob can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as ahr is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bob landing strikes from the mount and ahr is in trouble!
Bob looking to control but ahr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bob controlling the pace for now.

Bob lands a nice shot to the head.
Bob breaks from ahr's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bob takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
ahr in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Bob lands a heavy elbow.

Bob cracks ahr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bob tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bob fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Bob avoids the attempt from ahr to control.
Bob sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bob is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but ahr is surviving well by controlling Bob's body position as best he can.

A nice elbow there by Bob.
Bob controlling the position easily from mount.
Bob trying to control but ahr is having none of it.
ahr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground.

Despite being in the dominant position, Sponge Bob just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

ahr gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bob to score an easy takedown into full guard.

ahr is working an open guard so Bob takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Bob misses with the combination.

ahr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. ahr showed some decent athleticism there.
Bob wants to control but ahr is keeping busy and won't allow it.
ahr wants to control but Bob is keeping him busy.
Bob is looking to improve his position.
Bob trying to hold on to ahr's head to control him but ahr postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bob is trying to get back to full guard.

Bob makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bob.
Bob lands a good elbow from the bottom.
ahr tries to free his leg and advance position but Bob is retaining full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
ahr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bob but Bob pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bob throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. ahr was covering up waiting for the punch and Bob finishes the takedown easily into guard.
ahr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bob stands and steps away. ahr gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

ahr is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bob's half guard.
ahr seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bob trying to hold on to ahr's head to control him but ahr postures up.

ahr stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
ahr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

ahr wants to clinch.
serenity ahr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
ahr lands a glancing blow to the side of Bob's head.
Bob misses the shot to the body.

ahr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bob did well to prevent ahr getting side control.
ahr scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Bob trying to hold on to ahr's head to control him but ahr postures up.
ahr is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Sponge Bob has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bob is refusing to be controlled, as ahr sits in half guard.
Bob is looking to improve his position.
Bob gets full guard.
ahr controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bob wants to sweep but no luck.
Bob is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

serenity ahr dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


ahr slips a straight right by Bob.

Bob clinches with his opponent.
Bob misses with the head strike.

ahr breaks from the clinch.
Bob tries to clinch up.
ahr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bob closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. ahr did well to prevent Bob getting side control.
Bob is trying to control. ahr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bob takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bob is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bob trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob controlling the pace for now.
ahr's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Bob trying to control but he's not successful this time.
ahr is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
ahr tries to lock up and control but Bob gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
ahr is bucking up trying to escape but Bob cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bob trying to control but he's not successful this time.
ahr wants to control but Bob is having none of it.
Bob lands with some strikes.
Bob won't let ahr get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Bob tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
ahr is squirming around, avoiding Bob's attempts to control the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
You get the feeling that ahr really doesn't like being in this position too much.
ahr is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bob lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
ahr is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Bob tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
ahr tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
ahr is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Bob wants to control the pace but ahr is squirming around nicely.
Bob landing punches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sponge Bob comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bob has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
