Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Plank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mays has chosen Chevelle - Sleep Apnea as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Aiden Mays has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nice takedown defense from Plank. No joy for Mays on that attempt. Mays misses with the combination.
Plank lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Mays throws a low kick but Plank avoids it. Mays throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. and Plank counters with a stiff right hand. Mays moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Plank does it's job there. Mays throws a predictable looking body shot
and Plank counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Aiden Mays seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plank tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mays with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Plank to score with a decent uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
