Icmat has chosen next episode as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Icmat tries to work over Askren's front leg with a kick but Askren checks it.
Icmat fails with the takedown.
Askren cracks a nice hook into Icmat's ribs.
Askren throws a hook to the side of Icmat's head but Icmat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Askren clinches with his opponent.
Askren digs a right hand into Icmat's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Icmat's gas tank.
Icmat goes for a takedown attempt but Askren pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Askren moves into the clinch successfully.
Askren prevents a takedown attempt there.
John Askren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay jay Icmat.

Icmat fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Askren works on Icmat's body with a couple of short punches.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Askren creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Askren works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Askren scores with a shoulder strike.
Icmat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Askren pushes Icmat back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Askren drops Icmat onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Icmat is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Icmat is rocked!
Askren lands with a left to the head.
Icmat is still on wobbly legs! Can Askren finish him?
Askren creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Icmat's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Icmat drops to his knees and Askren pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Askren!
