And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Warren!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warren fails with the takedown.
Barnes scores with a kick to the midsection.

Barnes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Warren looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Barnes tries to advance to mount but can't.
Warren tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barnes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Warren stops Barnes from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barnes wants to control but Warren is keeping him busy.

Barnes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Warren pulls his leg out and moves away.

Warren shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barnes pinned against the cage. Barnes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Barnes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Warren shoots for a takedown but Barnes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barnes misses with a head kick.
Warren stuffs the takedown attempt from Barnes. Barnes gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Barnes or perhaps it was just good defense by Warren which made him look bad.

Warren is pressed up against the cage. Barnes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Warren down to the mat. Warren avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Barnes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Warren won't be happy with that.

You can see the frustration on Warren's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Barnes throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Warren blocks it with crossed arms.
Barnes tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Barnes is looking to control Warren's arms but Warren gets an underhook and turns him. Now Barnes has his back to the cage.
Barnes tries to pull guard but Warren won't allow it.
A bit of stalling here from Barnes.
Barnes goes for a takedown attempt but Warren pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
