Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miro Miric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreus Flapierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flapierre moves out of range as Miric strikes.
Flapierre shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miric sprawls well. Miric wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Flapierre gets slowly back to his feet.
Miric tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Miric shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Flapierre is trying to defend but Miric finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miric seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Flapierre does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Miric throws a nice looking combination but Flapierre bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miric crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flapierre - the referee stops the clock and Miric gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flapierre. Miric manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Miric fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flapierre manages to avoid it.
Flapierre shoots for a takedown but Miric saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A bone on bone clash there as Flapierre blocks the leg kick.
Flapierre has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Miric.

and Flapierre counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Flapierre misses with a takedown attempt - Miric sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Flapierre tries to score a power double leg takedown but Miric sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Flapierre somewhat.

and Flapierre counters with a good, hard body kick but Miric shrugs it off.

Miric stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miric wants it to stay on the feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miric accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Flapierre has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miric is working away from the top position though.
Miric decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Miric bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Flapierre regains half guard there - taking advantage of Miric's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Flapierre wants to control but Miric is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Miric seems to be working for a kimura but Flapierre defends the submission attempt.
Miric decides to stand up.
Flapierre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Miric throws a sloppy head kick and Flapierre moves out of range easily.

and Miric counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miric, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
