Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Belfort!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dante Fedor!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Belfort sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fedor somewhat.
Belfort looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Fedor shoots for a double leg takedown but Belfort sprawls well. He's pushed Fedor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fedor misses with a series of wild punches.
Belfort displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fedor.
Victor Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Fedor.
Fedor closes the distance and clinches up with Belfort, looking for a takedown. Fedor pushes Belfort against the cage but Belfort circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fedor shoots in but no luck this time.
Fedor takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Belfort looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fedor!

Fedor tries to hold on but Belfort pushes him away.

Belfort looking for a guillotine from mount but Fedor is having none of it.
Fedor is desperately trying to improve his position but Belfort has a good base and remains in mount.
Fedor is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Belfort throwing strikes here but Fedor is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Fedor can't escape the position.
Fedor manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Fedor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Belfort pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fedor looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Fedor is not content to let Belfort control the position.
Fedor is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fedor keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Fedor trying to control but Belfort postures up.

Fedor might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Belfort kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fedor moves into range and clinches up with Belfort.
Fedor goes for a takedown attempt but Belfort pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Fedor misses with a takedown attempt
and Belfort counters with a shoot takedown. Fedor fights it but they end up in guard.
Fedor is looking to stand up but Belfort isn't so interested in that idea.
Belfort throws a big right hand that misses.
Fedor kicks Belfort off and gets to his feet.
Belfort clinches with his opponent.
Belfort keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fedor's efforts to push away.
Fedor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fedor misses with a double jab.
Belfort shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fedor is trying to defend but Belfort finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fedor wants to get back to full guard.
Fedor looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Belfort drops an elbow to the side of Fedor's head.
Belfort is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fedor defends it well.
Fedor wants to control but Belfort is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Fedor is not content to let Belfort control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fedor shoots and misses
and Belfort counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fedor won't be happy with that.
Belfort tries to stand but Fedor is controlling his head.

Belfort is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fedor has escaped the position, nice work there.
Fedor is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Belfort's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Fedor looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Belfort stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Fedor to get to his feet.
Belfort moves into the clinch.

Fedor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Belfort is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Belfort stalls.
Belfort goes for a takedown attempt but Fedor pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Belfort is sitting in close to Fedor's body. Fedor has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Belfort is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Belfort is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fedor.
