Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Aerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pavel Morozov! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Aerts scores with a four punch combination! No luck with that takedown attempt from Aerts. Aerts leaves Morozov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Aerts.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morozov fails to land the takedown. Morozov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aerts defends it nicely. Peter Aerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavel Morozov. Aerts misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. No luck for Morozov with that takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Morozov.

Aerts misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Aerts closes the distance and clinches up with Morozov, looking for a takedown. Aerts pushes Morozov against the cage but Morozov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Aerts throws a sloppy head kick and Morozov moves out of range easily. Aerts really is a fat lump. Morozov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Aerts takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Aerts wants to get back to his feet. Morozov misses with an attempted head punch from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavel Morozov dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Morozov dives in and grabs Aerts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aerts pushes down on Morozov's head and hops out. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Morozov fails to land the takedown. Aerts throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aerts misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Aerts shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Morozov counters with a single leg into guard. Aerts didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morozov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Morozov stands up over Aerts, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Morozov works over Aerts with some ground and pound from guard. Morozov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Aerts wants to stand but Morozov is controlling the position. Morozov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Aerts preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Morozov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Morozov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Aerts is looking to stand up but Morozov isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aerts working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Morozov.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Aerts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Aerts misses with a head kick.
Morozov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavel Morozov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Morozov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Aerts as he jumps to the side. Aerts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morozov. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aerts throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Aerts throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Aerts fails with the takedown and Morozov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aerts!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morozov scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Aerts?
Aerts is rocked! Pavel Morozov has got the better of the ground game so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Morozov softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Aerts is out cold! Morozov jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pavel Morozov!
