Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between butch bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, John Doe!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bryan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

bryan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Doe's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

bryan stands up and waves to Doe to follow him.

Doe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with bryan, pushing him back against the cage.
Doe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from bryan.

Doe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
bryan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doe circles away quickly and effectively.
bryan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Doe.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doe scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Doe with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
bryan keeps the fight on the outside.

It looks like butch bryan has been cut.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
bryan is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doe lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Doe jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Doe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Doe lands a high kick to the side of bryan's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Doe dives into guard, looking to finish.
bryan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

bryan is looking to stand up but Doe isn't so interested in that idea.
Doe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with bryan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

John Doe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Doe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to bryan's calf.

Doe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. bryan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Doe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

bryan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
bryan throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
bryan controls Doe momentarily but Doe frees himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
bryan wants to get back to his feet but Doe is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Doe gets to his feet - bryan follows without any prompting.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

bryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Doe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's time! bryan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Doe lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Doe.

Doe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

John Doe seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Doe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt bryan.

bryan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Doe but Doe pushes him off and we're back to square one.

bryan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Doe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Doe cracks bryan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Doe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Doe wants it to stay on the feet.

bryan closes the distance and clinches up with Doe, looking for a takedown. bryan pushes Doe against the cage but Doe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Doe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Doe feints and then cracks bryan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow bryan down.

bryan drives through with a takedown into guard.

bryan stands and steps away. Doe gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Doe has had enough of the clinch but bryan keeps him there for the moment.
Doe is trying to break free.

bryan creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

bryan tries to pull guard but Doe won't allow it.

bryan wants the takedown. Doe is fighting it off but bryan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Doe's guard against the cage.

bryan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Doe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now bryan has Doe in his guard.
bryan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Doe!

Doe wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
bryan trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Doe doesn't escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
bryan keeps control of the position easily here as Doe tries to buck him off.

bryan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Doe's body.

bryan wants to control the position but Doe frees himself and scrambles - bryan manages to regain control in side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Doe wants to get back to his feet but bryan is dominant here and he's now got Doe's back!
Will bryan go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
