Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maurice DaMarcus!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DaMarcus misses with a kick to the body.
The crowd cheers as Goddell lands an impressive looking overhand right. DaMarcus doesn't seem phased though.
Goddell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
DaMarcus throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
DaMarcus dives in and grabs Goddell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Goddell pushes down on DaMarcus's head and hops out.
Goddell drops DaMarcus with a straight right hand, right on the button! Goddell follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Forrest Goddell!
