Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Happy Tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Schulte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom comes to the cage accompanied by Turbonegro - Wasted Again. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Happy Tom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Schulte! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schulte slips under a jab from Tom. Tom takes a swing at Schulte's ribcage but misses. A bone on bone clash there as Schulte blocks the leg kick.
Schulte closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schulte lands in his opponent's guard. Tom is controlling Schulte's posture. Schulte wants to pass the guard but Tom is keeping the position. Schulte is looking to work some ground and pound but Tom has wrist control. Schulte seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tom keeping moving, preventing Schulte from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schulte won't allow Tom to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tom is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Schulte lands a shoulder strike. Tom pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Tom lands an elbow just above Schulte 's eye.
It looks like Brian Schulte has been cut. Schulte managing to block the knees to the body from Tom.
Tom putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Schulte in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Tom lands a body punch in the clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Tom just misses with a elbow thrown towards Schulte's brow. Tom misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Schulte.
Tom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Schulte avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A combination from Schulte does no damage. Happy Tom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tom throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tom takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tom pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A punch lands to the side of Tom 's head but he takes it in his stride. Tom tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Tom dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schulte. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulte scores with a punch to the head. Tom throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Schulte counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tom! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Schulte looking to finish Tom with some ground and pound. This is bad for Tom! Tom wants to control but Schulte is having none of it. Tom is in a horrible position here. Schulte smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Tom tries to reverse the position but Schulte maintains control. Schulte is landing with some decent strikes but Tom is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Tom really wants to buck Schulte off and get back to his feet. Schulte is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Tom to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tom shrugs it off. Schulte lands with some strikes. Schulte raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulte is in the full mount, landing strikes. Tom is desperately trying to improve his position but Schulte has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BOOM! Schulte connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Schulte trying to control but Tom is having none of it. Tom bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Tom content to stall in guard here. Tom trying to control the position from guard on top but Schulte is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schulte has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Tom has gone for a leg lock! Schulte slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tom's guard. Schulte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tom swivels though and keeps the full guard. Schulte trying to control but Tom is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tom preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tom throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Schulte dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brian Schulte's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Schulte cracks Tom with a right hand to the side of the head. A shot to de liver by Schulte. Beautiful body shot. A swing and a miss from Schulte. Schulte lands with a straight right. Tom didn't see that one coming. Tom gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Schulte to score an easy takedown into full guard. Schulte wants to control from the top but Tom keeps moving. Tom is looking to stand up but Schulte isn't so interested in that idea. Schulte trying to control the position from guard on top but Tom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schulte preventing the sweep. Tom being controlled here, momentarily. Tom tries to land a sweep but no joy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tom dodges the punch combination from Schulte.
Schulte fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tom sprawls well initially but Schulte persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Schulte wants to pass the guard but Tom is defending well. Schulte thows a huge punch but Tom dodges it nicely.
Schulte is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Schulte is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Schulte misses with a head shot. Tom uses the momentum to regain guard. Schulte drops back looking for a leg! Tom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tom manages to kick Schulte off! Schulte jumps back into Tom's guard. Tom is trying to keep Schulte in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulte throwing strikes but missing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Tom misses with a low kick.
Tom just misses with a punch to the body.
Tom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schulte. Schulte lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Schulte slips under a jab. Tom pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Schulte on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tom. Tom obviously looking to wear him down.
Tom knocks Schulte to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!? Tom wants to control but Schulte is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Schulte's face as Tom controls the position. Tom thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Tom swings around for an armbar but Schulte sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tom's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Schulte trying to control the position from guard on top but Tom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schulte lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Schulte throws a strike but Tom rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Happy Tom will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Brian Schulte's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

and Schulte counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Schulte won't allow Tom to sweep him here. Tom looking for a guillotine here but Schulte defends easily.

Tom tries to roll over but Schulte keeps him under control. Schulte wants to advance to full mount but Tom doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Tom wants to sweep here but Schulte controlling him for the moment. Tom is working hard here to advance position. Schulte working some strikes from top position. Schulte thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Tom trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Schulte working some strikes from top position. Schulte working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tom manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Schulte has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tom avoids the attempt from Schulte to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulte regains half guard. Tom is trying to control. Schulte wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tom is pressing down on Schulte's thigh, looking to free his foot. Schulte is holding on for now. Schulte keeping control of the position. Tom is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schulte wants to improve his position but Tom is controlling well.
Tom is looking to pass Schulte's guard but actually Schulte recovers to full guard. Schulte trying to keep a closed guard but Tom is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Schulte trying to control the position from guard on top but Tom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Schulte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Schulte has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
