The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Rossa doesn't manage to clinch there - Hicks circles away.

De La Rossa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hicks is just riding it out for now. De La Rossa eventually gives up the hold. De La Rossa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

De La Rossa has hold of Hicks's hands but Hicks slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. De La Rossa is looking for a sweep. Hicks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hicks performing his best blanket impression for a moment. De La Rossa is staying active underneath Hicks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dwayne Hicks showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hicks has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
