Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Artur Voevoda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddie Coligado! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coligado fails with the takedown. Coligado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Voevoda is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Coligado's half guard. Voevoda seems to be looking for submissions.

Coligado is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Voevoda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Coligado defends it well. Voevoda is trying to control the action in half guard but Coligado is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coligado keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Coligado is trying to control but can't.
Voevoda is working for a submission of some sort.

Coligado is looking to control Voevoda's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Coligado avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Voevoda prevents Coligado from standing back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Voevoda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Coligado looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Voevoda is working to tighten is grip on Coligado's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Coligado has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Voevoda is really squeezing tight and eventually Coligado passes out! Voevoda breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
