Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Hood misses the target.
Hood checks a low kick from Jackman.
Hood throws a lazy right hand but Jackman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hood throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hood uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jackman has time to react.
It looks like Russell Jackman has been cut.
Hood throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jackman.
Jackman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hood.

Jackman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hood jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hood throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackman.
Hood misses with a wild combination.
Hood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jackman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hood throws the left hand but Jackman avoids the punch easily.
Jackman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hood. Jackman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hood just misses with a punch to the body.
Hood looks to land a right hand but Jackman moved out of range.
Hood takes a swing at Jackman's ribcage but misses.
Jackman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hood finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackman's head.
Russell Jackman's cut is getting worse.
Jackman tries to clinch up but Hood circles away and keeps his distance.
A swing and a miss from Hood.
Jackman blocks a jab.
Jackman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A bone on bone clash there as Jackman blocks the leg kick.
Jackman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hood finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackman's head.

Russell Jackman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jeez, Russell Jackman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jackman looks up at the clock. Bad move! Hood lands a right hand from hell, dropping Jackman. Hood pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gordon Hood!
