Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricardo looks to score with a jab to the body but Cranka is just out of range.
Cranka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ricardo.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cranka.
Cranka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Augusto Ricardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ricardo blocks a head kick by Cranka.
Cranka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ricardo.
Cranka gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cranka is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Ricardo tries to lock up and control but Cranka gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cranka sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Cranka misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Cranka has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ricardo's face.

Poor strikes thrown by Cranka there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
