Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ginger Ayl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ayl is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by white lighting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ginger Ayl! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Summers takes the fight into the clinch. Summers has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ayl avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ayl wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Summers goes for a takedown attempt but Ayl pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Summers tries to clinch up but Ayl circles away and keeps his distance. Summers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ayl wants to slow Summers down by chopping away at his legs. Ayl fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ayl thows a body shot but no joy. Ayl swinging wildly here.
Ayl bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Summers's head backwards. Ayl circles away from the clinch attempt.
Summers moves into range and clinches up with Ayl. Summers tries to land a knee to the head but Ayl blocks with his arms.

Ayl lands a shoulder strike. Ayl lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Ayl lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Ayl. Ayl breaks the clinch.
Summers moves in looking to clinch but Ayl pushes him off. Summers avoids a kick to the body.
Summers doesn't manage to clinch there - Ayl circles away.
Ayl looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Summers moves in looking to clinch but Ayl pushes him off. Summers moves out of range as Ayl throws a body kick.
Summers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ayl.
Summers tries to close the distance and clinch but Ayl swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Summers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ayl paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ayl fails with a takedown attempt. Summers digs a good hook to Ayl's body.
Scott Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ayl looks to score with a jab to the body but Summers is just out of range. Ayl decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Summers moves into full guard.
Summers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Summers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ayl's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ayl can do anything to dispel that myth. Ayl keeping full guard, as Summers tries to pass. Summers is breathing heavily. Summers stops Ayl from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Summers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ayl swivels though and keeps the full guard. Summers postures up in Ayl's guard and throws a big left but Ayl blocks it. Ayl keeping full guard, as Summers tries to pass. Summers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ayl pushes Summers off and scrambles back to his feet.
Ayl looks to land a combination but Summers avoids it well. Ayl shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ayl looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ayl tries to pass to full mount but Summers defends it. The fighters are battling for position here. Summers manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Summers looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ayl is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Summers wants to sweep here but Ayl controlling him for the moment. Ayl seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ayl trying to control but Summers is working from the bottom. Summers manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ayl tries to buck Summers off but he can't manage it. Ayl is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Summers working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ayl looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Summers! Submission of the night perhaps?
