Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sambrosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sambrosa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sambrosa throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Bryce Carter has been cut.
Carter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sambrosa counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Carter has hold of Sambrosa's hands but Sambrosa slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sambrosa has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sambrosa controlling his opponent.
Carter is trying desperately to improve position.
Sambrosa in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Carter wants to hold on but Sambrosa pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sambrosa trying to control but Carter is having none of it.
Carter bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Sambrosa wants to stand and escape but Carter is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carter with a nice head shot there.
Carter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sambrosa's guard.

Carter frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Carter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Carter working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Sambrosa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sambrosa is desperately trying to improve his position but Carter has a good base and remains in mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
It looks like Daniel Sambrosa has been cut.
Sambrosa looks gassed!
Carter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sambrosa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sambrosa is rocked!
Carter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sambrosa looks a forlorn figure.
Sambrosa is still in real trouble! Can Carter finish him?
Carter postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Sambrosa bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Carter and the fight is over!
