Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willy Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Cool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Escudero! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cool lands a lovely overhand right. Escudero tries to land a front kick but Cool steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Escudero takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cool shoots in and bounces Escudero off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cool thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Escudero wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cool manages to pass to side control. Cool is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cool prevents Escudero from improving his position. Cool is trying to control the action in half guard but Escudero is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cool is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Escudero!
That's one minute gone in the round. Escudero tries to reverse the position but Cool maintains control. Cool scoring with strikes but Escudero is staying in there. Escudero is desperately trying to improve his position but Cool has a good base and remains in mount. Cool scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cool is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Escudero can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Escudero really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Cool looking to control and managing it successfully. Cool blocks Escudero's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Escudero is trying to stand up. Escudero looks gassed! Escudero swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cool looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cool is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Escudero is surviving well by controlling Cool's body position as best he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cool is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Cool swats away the attempt to clinch by Escudero. Cool looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Escudero! Escudero is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Cool locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Escudero is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Willy Cool!
