PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Remo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nicolas moya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Remo's entrance music is Paradise City. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Remo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
moya closes the distance and clinches up with Remo, looking for a takedown. moya pushes Remo against the cage but Remo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

moya has closed the distance and engaged Remo in a clinch.
Remo avoiding damage.

Remo breaks from the clinch.

Remo clinches.
Remo lands a shoulder strike.
Remo crunches a lovely knee into moya's ribcage.
moya is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A left hand lands to the body for Remo.

Remo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
moya throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Remo's waist but Remo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing moya off to one side.
Martin Remo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of nicolas moya.
moya is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Remo.
Remo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
moya shoots in for a takedown but Remo shows good takedown defense.

moya tries to keep at a distance but Remo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Remo tightens his grip and picks moya up, before dumping him to the ground. moya manages to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Remo scoring with some ground and pound.
Remo stands up over moya, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Remo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Remo trying to control the position from guard on top but moya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Remo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Remo is posturing up here but moya has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Remo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Remo has to tap! Slick submission there by moya!
